• One of 3 local species that formed the basis of the early plantation programme in the Solomon Islands.
• Yellow Terminalia commonly grows back naturally within KFPL's plantations.
• Floater when fresh cut.
• Timber is light (450-480kg per m³) when air dried.
• Excellent peeler and used extensively as core veneers in plywood manufacture.
